For the balance that conventional feminine care rarely addresses.

The vaginal microbiome is a self-regulating ecosystem. In a healthy state, Lactobacillus bacteria dominate — maintaining an acidic pH that naturally inhibits the overgrowth of opportunistic organisms like Candida albicans. When this balance is disrupted — through antibiotics, hormonal changes, synthetic fabrics, harsh cleansers, or stress — the conditions for infection emerge.

Candida albicans does not invade from the outside. It is already present in the vaginal environment, coexisting quietly until the conditions shift in its favour. This is why conventional antifungal treatments address the symptom — the overgrowth — but not the conditions that allowed it. Recurrence is common precisely because the underlying imbalance in the microbiome is never resolved.

This formula was built on a different premise: restore the environmental conditions that keep Candida in check, rather than simply suppress it.

How does this formula work

Three mechanisms working in parallel: antifungal and antimicrobial action, tissue repair and barrier protection, and microenvironment restoration.

Antifungal and antimicrobial

  • Manuka (Leptospermum Scoparium) Branch/Leaf Oil — its high-triketone chemotype has been independently tested to show antimicrobial potency up to 20-30 times stronger than tea tree oil against gram-positive bacteria. Separately, manuka oil's terpenoid compounds have also demonstrated antifungal activity against Candida albicans, making it the primary antifungal agent in this formula.
  • Laurel (Laurus Nobilis) Leaf Oil — rich in oxides and monoterpene alcohols; broad-spectrum antifungal and antiviral; effectively reduces the inflammatory response triggered by microbiome imbalance; complements Manuka with a chemically distinct mechanism of action

Tissue repair and barrier protection

  • Tamanu (Calophyllum Inophyllum) Oil — known as the "green miracle oil"- contains calophyllolide and calamyllic acid, compounds with documented anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and wound-healing properties; repairs micro-damage to mucosal tissue caused by scratching or active infection; forms a protective, breathable film over vulnerable tissue to shield it from further irritation.
  • Andiroba (Carapa Guianensis) Seed Oil — sourced from the Amazon; rich in limonoids (including gedunin); powerfully anti-itch and anti-inflammatory; significantly reduces redness and swelling in sensitive tissue; works alongside Tamanu to create a dual barrier and repair system for compromised mucosal surfaces.

Microenvironment restoration

  • Bergamot Mint (Mentha Citrata) Herb Oil — distinct from standard peppermint; contains no irritating menthol; instead, rich in linalyl acetate — the same compound found in lavender — making it exceptionally gentle on mucosal tissue. Provides immediate cooling relief to inflamed tissue, calms the nerve response that drives the itch-scratch cycle, and soothes the heat and irritation of active infection without causing further sensitivity
  • Myrtle (Myrtus Communis) Leaf Oil — mildly astringent and antimicrobial; helps regulate local mucosal secretion and supports the restoration of the slightly acidic pH environment that protects the vaginal ecosystem; one of the gentlest antimicrobial botanicals available for sensitive tissue.

The balance logic

This formula works on three levels simultaneously:

At the physical level, Tamanu and Andiroba form a protective, breathable film over the mucosal surface, repairing damage and shielding tissue from external irritants.

At the biochemical level, Manuka and Laurel precisely target harmful organisms (fungi, certain bacteria) while creating space for beneficial Lactobacillus to re-establish dominance.

At the sensory level, Bergamot Mint provides immediate itch relief and calms the inflammatory heat sensation while the deeper antimicrobial action takes effect.

On microbiome balance

This formula does not kill indiscriminately. The compounds selected target opportunistic organisms without the broad-spectrum disruption caused by pharmaceutical antifungals. The goal is to shift the balance back toward a healthy Lactobacillus-dominant, mildly acidic environment — not to sterilise.

For this reason, the formula works best when used consistently over time, not as a single acute intervention.

Vulvar hygiene — a note

Many common feminine hygiene products actively worsen microbiome balance. For best results alongside this formula:

  • Wash the vulva with plain warm water only
  • Wear breathable cotton underwear in light colours
  • Avoid panty liners, feminine sprays, scented soaps, and synthetic fabrics
  • Allow the vaginal environment to self-regulate — the vagina does not require internal cleaning

Who is this for

Women experiencing recurrent or mild Candida infections and associated itching. Women whose microbiomes have been disrupted by antibiotics, hormonal changes, or lifestyle factors. Women seeking a complementary approach to conventional antifungal treatment.

This formula is appropriate for Candida-related symptoms and microbiome imbalance. It does not treat bacterial vaginosis, sexually transmitted infections, or other gynaecological conditions. If symptoms are severe, persistent, or accompanied by unusual discharge or odour, consult a medical professional.

How to use

Vulvar application — apply a suitable amount to the external vulvar area. Massage gently until absorbed. May be used multiple times daily as needed.

Internal application — apply 5 drops to a tampon before insertion. Use once nightly.
If you are considering internal use, we recommend starting with external application first, and only progressing to internal use once you've confirmed the formula suits your skin/tissue (via the self-check above) and experienced no adverse reaction.

For external and intimate use only. Do not ingest. Patch test on the inner arm before first use on sensitive tissue. Not recommended during pregnancy. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a professional.
