Most aloe gels are not aloe gels.

Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Hydrosol: The base of this formula — replacing plain water entirely. Lavender hydrosol is the condensed water produced during steam distillation of lavender essential oil. It retains water-soluble aromatic compounds that pure water does not contain: naturally antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and astringent. It controls sebum, accelerates the healing of active breakouts, and soothes heat and redness on the skin surface. The subtle lavender scent is a natural consequence of the ingredient, not a fragrance addition.

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Juice: The source of healing polysaccharides — long-chain carbohydrate molecules that penetrate the dermis, deliver moisture at a cellular level, and signal the skin's repair mechanisms. Unlike surface-level humectants, polysaccharides work below the epidermis. This is why concentrated aloe has a documented history of use in burn treatment, wound healing, and post-sun recovery — not just cosmetic hydration.

Vegetable Glycerin: A natural humectant that draws moisture from the environment into the skin. Works in tandem with aloe polysaccharides to maintain hydration without occlusion — no film, no heaviness.

Allantoin, a compound found naturally in comfrey root, stimulates cell regeneration to accelerate the healing of minor wounds, active breakouts, and post-sun damage. Gently dissolves dead keratin — softening rough or damaged skin more effectively than physical exfoliation, without the irritation. Increases the water content of the stratum corneum and reduces moisture loss. One of the few ingredients that simultaneously repairs, softens, and hydrates.

Sodium Levulinate & Sodium Anisate A plant-derived preservation system — derived from fermented sugars and anise. Replaces synthetic preservatives while maintaining formula stability. Chosen specifically to keep this formula clean without compromising shelf life.

How to use

Sun recovery — apply a generous layer to sun-exposed skin immediately after cooling down. For enhanced effect, refrigerate before use.

Minor burns and heat exposure — apply after a cold compress. The combination of aloe polysaccharides and allantoin supports tissue recovery and helps prevent blistering. For serious burns, seek medical attention.

Daily hydration — use as a lightweight essence in Singapore's climate. Apply to clean skin before facial oil, or alone. Absorbs completely without residue.
