This one is cosmetic in purpose: restoring elasticity, firming the skin, and maintaining the structural integrity of breast tissue, which changes with age, weight fluctuations, and hormonal cycles. The other addresses lymphatic and glandular health. They are not interchangeable.

The bust is one of the most neglected areas in skincare. The skin here is thin, relatively lacking in sebaceous glands, and subject to constant gravitational stress — yet most women apply nothing to it beyond body lotion, if that. This formula was designed with the same clinical framework as the LOHAS HERBS facial oil range: every ingredient chosen for its biochemical function, not its label appeal.

How this formula works

Four mechanisms working in parallel: hormonal support for tissue health, preservation of collagen and elastin, circulatory nourishment, and deep penetration of active compounds.

Hormonal support and barrier restoration

• Borage Seed Oil (Borago Officinalis) — the foundational carrier of this formula; contains the highest known concentration of GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) among plant oils. GLA is a precursor to prostaglandins — compounds that regulate cellular inflammation and hormonal signalling. Absorbed through the skin, it supports hormonal balance, reduces premenstrual breast tenderness, and is one of the most effective natural compounds for rebuilding skin elasticity and barrier function in hormone-sensitive tissue.
• Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens) Oil — known in clinical aromatherapy as a phytohormonal balancer; modulates the oestrogen-progesterone ratio; supports the breast tissue's response to hormonal fluctuation throughout the cycle

Collagen regeneration and elastase inhibition

• Sea Fennel (Crithmum Maritimum) Oil — the primary anti-ageing active in this formula; stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis; used in premium European skincare for its ability to counter gravitational effects on skin by rebuilding the structural proteins that maintain lift and firmness. Luisieri) Oil — a rare Iberian subspecies containing α-luisierol and α-luisierate, compounds that cannot be synthetically replicated; inhibits collagenase to protect existing collagen from enzymatic breakdown; simultaneously stimulates new collagen synthesis; particularly effective for stretch marks and skin laxity — the most structurally targeted ingredient in this formula
• Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) Wood Oil — contains compounds that inhibit collagenase activity while stimulating collagen synthesis; works in parallel with Luisieri Lavender to form a dual collagen defence system — the same pairing used in the Youth Elixir Antioxidant Oil, here applied to the specific structural needs of breast tissue.

The carrier base

• Crambe Abyssinica (Abyssinian) Seed Oil — acts as a penetration enhancer; its molecular structure is close to the skin's own sebum, allowing active compounds — particularly Sea Fennel and Luisieri Lavender — to pass through the relatively thick skin of the bust area and reach the deeper tissue where they are needed.
• Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca) — lightweight and rapidly absorbed; nourishes skin that becomes dry and sensitive during hormonal fluctuation; provides the formula's smooth application texture.
• Natural Vitamin E (Dl-α-Tocopherol) — antioxidant stability; protects elastin and collagen from oxidative damage; extends formula shelf life.

On the menstrual cycle

This formula should not be used during menstruation. Rosa Centifolia and Geranium have documented emmenagogue properties — they promote pelvic circulation and can increase menstrual flow if applied to large areas during the period. Additionally, breast tissue is already in a state of vascular congestion during menstruation; applying high-activity compounds to sensitised tissue may intensify discomfort rather than relieve it.

For best results, follow the natural cycle:

• Pre-menstrual phase — use to relieve premenstrual breast tenderness and support hormonal balance
• During menstruation — pause
• Post-menstrual phase (days 7–14) — resume; this is the period of peak tissue receptivity and the most effective window for firming and lifting results

How to use

Apply a suitable amount to the chest, avoiding the areola. Massage gently until absorbed — use upward and outward strokes to support lymphatic flow toward the axillary nodes. Follow with a warm towel compress for 1–2 minutes to drive deeper penetration. Use once daily in the evening, excluding during menstruation.
