Mechanism one: Protect and rebuild

This formula contains two ingredients that independently inhibit collagenase while stimulating new collagen production — working in parallel to form a dual-action collagen defence system.

Luisieri Lavender (Spanish Lavender) — a rare subspecies found only on the Iberian Peninsula, containing α-luisierol and α-luisierate, compounds so structurally unique they cannot be synthetically replicated. First identified in a Brazilian insect species that feeds on animal tissue — hence the name "corpse alcohol." In skin biology, these compounds are the only known natural inhibitors of collagenase, the enzyme that breaks down collagen. While blocking destruction, they simultaneously stimulate new collagen synthesis.

Palo Santo (Sacred Wood) — sourced from South America; contains compounds that inhibit collagenase activity while simultaneously stimulating collagen synthesis — working in parallel with Luisieri Lavender to form a complete collagen defence and regeneration system within a single formula.

Mechanism two: Stimulate from within

Longoza (Madagascar Resurrection Plant) — a rare ginger-family plant from Madagascar, known locally as the plant that cannot die: severed, it regenerates completely. Its seed oil contains labd-type diterpenes that directly stimulate dermal fibroblasts — the cells responsible for collagen synthesis. The result is not surface-level plumping, but structural rebuilding at the dermal layer.

The supporting formula

Every other ingredient in this oil was selected to reinforce one of two functions: antioxidant protection or cellular renewal.

• Acai Fruit Oil — among the highest anthocyanin concentrations in nature, up to 30x that of red wine grapes; exceptional free radical neutralisation
• Buriti Fruit Oil — the richest natural source of beta-carotene (Vitamin A) in existence, higher than carrot root oil; converts to retinol on skin contact, stimulates collagen regeneration.
• Echium Seed Oil — high in SDA, an Omega-3 precursor; regulates inflammatory response that accelerates ageing.
• Honesty (Lunaria) Seed Oil — contains approximately 25% nervonic acid (C24:1), a rare long-chain fatty acid; improves skin firmness, elasticity, and the appearance of fine lines.
• Pracaxi Seed Oil — highest known concentration of behenic acid; used globally for severe skin conditions; deeply restructuring
• Corn Gromwell (Buglossoides) — reinforces the lipid barrier; reduces age-related permeability.
• Elderberry Seed Oil — rich in Vitamins A, C, and E; supports collagen synthesis and cellular repair
• Guava Seed Oil — high in beta-carotene, Vitamin C, zinc, and selenium; powerful antioxidant and astringent
• Sandalwood New Caledonia — deeply nourishing; supports cell regeneration
• Immortelle (Helichrysum Italicum) — known as the everlasting flower; antioxidant, antimicrobial; revitalises skin at the cellular level, supports local tissue healing
• Sea Fennel — grown on the coastal cliffs of Ikaria, Greece, nourished by sea minerals and wind; rich in Vitamins A, C, E, amino acid peptides, and polyphenols; stimulates collagen and elastin regeneration

How to use

For evening use only. This formula contains Vitamin A Palmitate, which increases photosensitivity and should not be exposed to daylight.

Warm a few drops between palms. Press gently onto face and neck until absorbed. If there is excess, blot lightly with a tissue rather than rubbing. Use on clean skin in the evening, alone or layered under moisturiser. Your skin will tell you how much it needs.
